The Church of England, Church of St. Barnabas first opened in 1935. St. Barnabas was granted Parish status in 1958 when the attractive modern style building now in use was consecrated. The original church building is now a church hall, known as the Woodfield Hall. In addition, St Barnabas has a modern church hall, with catering facilities, and a comfortable lounge area.
